About World citizen talent scholarship
The host institution is The Hague University of Applied Sciences. People who consider themselves as the world’s citizens have good chance to apply at the master level course at the host institution. The university aims to bring the talented, intelligent, young and ambitious students in front of the world. The university offers three scholarships to international students available for one time.
The host institution offers course level- master level programme for the year 2018-2019
Number of scholarships – 3
Target group– international students only (outside the Netherlands)
Scholarship amount– €5,000 for each of three scholarships’
Eligibility– applicants are eligible if:
- Nonresidents of Netherlands
- First-time applicants at THAUS
- First-time applicants for scholarships
- Accepted as the student for the upcoming academic year before 1 may in THAUS
Step 1– Students interested in the world citizen talent scholarship must apply for the master programme. They can apply using Osiris application tool that is available online.
Step 2– They must write an essay as per the guidelines. It should be written in English, and the word limit is 950 to 1100 words. The essay should explain their interests and contribution. Students can follow the guidelines to write an essay given on the official link of THAUS.
Step 3– submit the essay before the deadline for application form
Results will be announced by the committee appointed for the assessment of essay. Three students will be selected whose write up have impressed the judges to receive the scholarship. Decision or results will be announced by 15 may 2018.
A scholarship will be awarded to those winners who meet the terms and conditions required for the world citizen talent scholarship. The amount will be waived from the tuition fees.
